President Trump might accept a lot less money for his proposed wall at the U.S.-Mexico border. Sources tell NBC News that Trump would be willing to accept two-point-five-billion-dollars or about half of what he originally requested. Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said even though they’ve come down off their five-billion-dollar offer, Nancy Pelosi likely won’t act until after she becomes House speaker. It’s officially week two of the partial government shutdown as the stalemate continues between Congress and President Trump over his border wall.
