A Neoga man was injured in a fire Monday night. The fire was reported at 10:20 p.m. on Franklin Avenue. Witness reported hearing an explosion, and then saw smoke. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage. Officials say the man sustained burns to 20-percent of his body and is currently being treated at the Springfield Memorial Hospital Burn Unit. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
