Freezing Drizzle Possible Overnight and Tuesday Morning…
Freezing drizzle is likely to develop during overnight across central Illinois, and continue into Tuesday morning north of I-70. The freezing drizzle threat will likely start in areas along and north of I-74 after 2 am, and then spread southward into the rest of central IL around sunrise Tuesday morning.
There is uncertainty in the exact coverage of the freezing drizzle. However, if it forms, then hazardous travel and walking conditions will be possible due to slick roads, parking lots, and sidewalks, especially those that are untreated. Please continue to stay up to date with the latest forecast and possible advisory issuances.
