Illinois State University Looking To Add Dorms
(Normal, IL) — While some universities in Illinois are closing their dorms, Illinois State University says it’s looking to add dorm rooms. The school yesterday said it’s asked developers to submit designs by the end of the month. ISU’s Eric Jome says the new dorms would add more living space on campus, and could replace some aging dorms that would be expensive to rehab. Southern Illinois University and Western Illinois University both announced that they’re closing dorms this school year. Those schools don’t have enough students to fill them.
