Lingering Winter Weather For Some This Morning
(Davenport, IA) — There will be some slick spots to start the day across a large swath of northern Illinois. The National Weather Service is leaving a winter storm warning in place, till nine a.m. for the Quad Cities and till noon for folks from Rockford to the northern Chicago suburbs. Forecasters are also leaving a winter weather advisory in place, again till nine a.m. for folks down to Peoria and till noon for people who live closer to the Chicago suburbs.
