The man who jump or fell from a second story balcony at the Coles County Courthouse is listed in critical condition. James Brigham, of Mattoon, was in custody and appearing in a divorce hearing prior to the incident which happened yesterday. Authorities have not determined whether he fell or jumped. Brigham is the man who was arrested in December for allegedly calling in a bomb threat to the Mattoon Walmart.
