(Undated) — A winter storm carrying a blast of arctic air is set to dump swaths of snow on busy travel routes in the Midwest. Weather experts say the wintry mix of snow and ice will target the I-90 and I-94 corridors starting tomorrow and carrying into early next week. Folks in the Midwest can expect temperatures anywhere from ten to 25-degrees lower than normal throughout the weekend. The Northern Plains, parts of the mid-Mississippi Valley and the Great Lakes are expected to receive patches of snow tonight. Places like Fargo, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Detroit and Chicago could receive six inches of snow or more. High winds will also pose a problem for air travel through Monday.
