(Houston, TX) — At least one suspect is dead and five police officers hospitalized following a shooting in Texas. It happened in southeast Houston while police tried to serve a warrant. The officers are hospitalized in an unknown condition and Police Chief Art Acevedo has asked people to pray for the cops. Texas Governor Greg Abbott also asked for prayers and called it a “horrific attack.”

(Houston, TX) — Houston police are confirming one suspect is dead in a shooting which left five police officers hospitalized. Police tweeted this evening the suspect was killed at a home in the southeast part of the city. SWAT is still on scene making sure no other suspects are inside the house. It’s believed police were serving a warrant when bullets started flying. The police union says two officers are critical while the others are stable.
