Quincy’s Mayor Talks About Worker Shortage With President Trump
(Quincy, IL) — Quincy’s mayor says he hopes something comes of his conversation with President Trump about the need for skilled workers. Mayor Kyle Moore was in Washington D.C. last week, he says he and a group of mayors met with the president in the White House. Moore told the president that Quincy, and much of Illinois, needs workers who have a trade or a skill. Moore said there needs to be a focus on improving the workforce. He said the president listened and soaked it in.
