U Of I Proposes Another Tuition Freeze
(Urbana, IL) — The University of Illinois is looking to, once again, hold the line on tuition. U of I President Tim Killeen yesterday proposed a tuition freeze for the 2019-2020 school year. It’s the fifth year in a row that Killeen wants to keep tuition where it is. Tuition alone at the U of I’s main campus in Champaign-Urbana would stay at just over 12-thousand-dollars-a-year. But, Killeen says room and board costs, as well as mandatory school fees will go up next school year.
