Officer Who Stopped School Shooter Headed To D.C. Tonight

(Dixon, IL) — The Dixon, Illinois police officer who stopped a school shooter last year is heading to the State of the Union. Congressman Adam Kinzinger yesterday said he is inviting Officer Mark Dallas to be his guest at tonight’s speech. Dallas stopped a shooting at Dixon High School last spring, he’s been celebrated as a hero ever since. Dallas was even honored by President Trump.
