Report: GM, Amazon To Invest In Central Illinois Automaker
(Normal, IL) — There is reportedly a lot of interest in Bloomington-Normal’s electric car maker, despite the fact that they have yet to make a car. Reuters is reporting that both Amazon and GM are investing in Rivian. Rivian is a small company that has plans to make an electric SUV and electric pickup truck at the former Mitsubishi plant in Normal. Neither GM, Amazon, or Rivian are commenting on the report.
