Nike Investigating After Duke Star Williamson Blows Out Shoe, Sprains Knee
(Undated) — Nike says it’s investigating after Duke star Zion Williamson blew out his shoe and injured his knee in last night’s loss to North Carolina. Williamson went down less than a minute into the game, which the Tar Heels won, 88-72. Williamson was driving across the top of the key when the shoe’s sole gave out and he crumpled to the floor. Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski says the 6 foot 7, 285-pound freshman has a mild knee sprain.
