CDC Reports Chronic Wasting Disease In Central Illinois

(Washington, D.C.) — The CDC is confirming CWD in central Illinois. Federal regulators yesterday released a list of counties with confirmed cases of Chronic Wasting Disease. The list comes with a warning that people should not eat any meat from a deer with CWD. Illinois hunters and wildlife managers have been trying to contain CWD since at least 2002.
