Southern Illinois Carbondale Wants Its Own Nursing Program
(Carbondale, IL) — Southern Illinois University already has a successful nursing program, at the Edwardsville campus. Now, managers at the Carbondale campus want their own. SIU-C leaders yesterday asked the State Board of Higher Education for permission to create an undergrad program in nursing. Interim Carbondale campus Provost Meera Komarraju says the nursing program would help their needs in Carbondale.
