Reggie Phillips defeated Jonathan Kaye in the 110th District, for Cumberland County Board-Eastern, Kyle Bergbower edged Janet Blade by 4%, for Edgar County Board, John Chittick is the winner. For Edgar County precinct committeemen in Paris, it’s James Mathis, and in Kansas, the winner was Dylan Rardin. Dale Righter has been declared the winner in the 55th Legislative District, Michael Strange won for Lawrence County State’s Attorney. Seven Hickory Morgan Fire tax referendum has passed.
For president in the Illinois Primary, Donald Trump has been declared the winner on the Republican ticket, and on the Democratic ticket, Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders by just 2 percent.
