T-Mobile admits it spent 195-thousand dollars at a Trump hotel while awaiting government approval of its proposed merger with Sprint. In a letter to Senator Elizabeth Warren last month, a spokesman for T-Mobile said they understand staying at Trump properties might be viewed negatively by some, but they are “confident” their merger proposal is being judged on its merits. Warren was not convinced. The Massachusetts Democrat tweeted yesterday, “Now that T-Mobile has a 26-billion-dollar merger with Sprint pending Trump administration approval,” T-Mobile CEO Jon Legere is “happy to spend 195-thousand dollars at Trump’s DC hotel.” Warren added that it sounded shady.
