Own a boat? Take it out on the lake this weekend and help out your surrounding habitats and environment!
Fish Habitat day will be this Saturday, March 19th, at Lake Shelbyville. Volunteers are still needed for the event. Those who have a boat can help place donated Christmas Trees throughout different areas surrounding the lake. Volunteers are also needed to on shore to help build the structures and place the trees in the boats.
Those who wish to help out are asked to meet at the Lone Point Recreation Area boat ramp at 8:45 AM or 8 AM if you are bringing a boat. Lunch will also be provided once the work is done.
