Coles County Electronics Recycling Event
Electronic Waste can be properly disposed of Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Lake Land College, Mattoon, IL from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Coles County will hold an electronics recycling event at Lake Land College, 5001 Lake Land Blvd., Mattoon, IL on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will end when semis are full or 1:00 p.m., whichever comes first. Participants should enter through the south Lake Land entrance near the police station. This event is open to all Coles County residents. Proof of county residency is required.
Accepted items include computers, computer monitors*, televisions*, printers, fax machines, scanners, DVD players and recorders, VCRs, video game consoles, digital converter boxes, cable receivers, satellite receivers, electronic keyboards and mice, small-scale servers, portable digital music players (memory capability & battery powered).
*$5 fee for each TV and Monitor with a total limit of 10 (ten).
Consumers can help prevent toxic chemicals and hazardous materials from entering our landfills by bringing in their old electronics to have them disposed of properly.
