Based on the pain, it’s probably not a record most women care to own. Joy Buckley, of Corning, New York now has that record at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, and once officials check birth history, she could also own the state record for the largest baby born. Baby Harper arrived on March 12th, weighing in at 15 pounds, 5 ounces. The birth required three doctors, a C-section and a medical vacuum to pull Harper out. Buckley, who had an 11 pound son two years ago, said, “I felt like I was hit by two tractor-trailers. It was pretty violent. She got stuck under my rib cage.”
