Trump Removes New Sanctions On North Korea
(Washington, DC) — President Trump is removing sanctions that the Treasury Department imposed on North Korea this week. White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters that Trump likes North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and doesn’t think the additional sanctions will be necessary. Trump and Kim have held two summits but little progress has been made toward the actual denuclearization of North Korea. The first summit was in Singapore last year and a follow-up meeting was held recently in Vietnam.
