Packers, Bears To Open 2019 NFL Season

(Phoenix, AZ) — The Super Bowl champion New England Patriots will not open the 2019 NFL regular season. The league is bucking from tradition and will instead pit the Green Bay Packers against the Chicago Bears to kick off the campaign Thursday, September 5th at Soldier Field. The Pats will begin defense of their title on Sunday Night Football in Week One against an opponent to be determined.
