UPDATED: Popular Computer System for Airline Booking Experiences Brief Nationwide Outage
(Undated) — An outage with a popular airline computer booking system is over but fliers at airports across the U.S. are still dealing with long lines after the glitch. The Sabre computer booking system used by airlines such as American and JetBlue experienced the issues. Passengers took to Twitter to say they endured issues with check-in and airlines were unable to issue boarding passes. Sabre has apologized for the inconvenience and says the recovery process is in progress.
