Boys And Girls Club Of Rockford Receives Endowment For Flags
(Rockford, IL) — The Boys and Girls Club of Rockford is receiving a large gift to help honor fallen heroes. The organization announced a 50-thousand dollar endowment gift yesterday that will provide free flags for the graves of veterans on each Memorial Day. Half of the endowment came from an anonymous donor and guarantees flags will be available for all area veterans’ graves for an extended period of time.
