U.S. Marshals Involved In Peoria Death Investigation

(Peoria, IL) — U.S. Marshals are involved in a Peoria death investigation. Authorities say 22-year-old Rodger Thompson died as Marshals tried to serve a parole violation warrant at a home on Bestor Street. Illinois Police say authorities heard a gunshot from inside the residence after trying to call him out of the home. Officials believe Thompson died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
