Right wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones says psychosis made him doubt the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The Info Wars founder is facing eight lawsuits related to false statements about the tragic incident in Newtown, Connecticut. In a three-hour deposition video released yesterday, Jones claimed he had a form of psychosis where he was convinced the shooting was staged and the parents of young victims were lying. Jones blamed the media for his conspiracy theories, saying he was traumatized by frequent lies in government and mainstream outlets. He is also known for claiming the Boston Marathon was staged, that 9-1-1 was inside job, and is facing two defamation lawsuits related to false statements about the Parkland, Florida school shooting and the alt-right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
