Trooper Killed In Head-On Collision
(Downers Grove, IL) — Illinois State Police are mourning another loss in their community after a trooper was killed in a head-on collision. Trooper Gerald Ellis was on duty in his squad car early Saturday morning when his vehicle was struck by a wrong-way driver on I-94 in Green Oaks. Ellis was an eleven year ISP veteran in Downers Grove.
