(London) — The United Kingdom is one step closer to leaving the European Union without a deal. Today, Parliament failed to agree on four alternative Brexit measures. Lawmakers have already rejected a deal negotiated by the EU and Prime Minister Theresa May’s government. The U.K. is scheduled to leave the European Union on April 12th without an agreement unless Parliament comes together to pass a plan. Britain can also ask for an extension to that divorce date.
