Memorial Held For Fallen State Trooper

(Warren, IL) — The Warren community is paying its final respects to fallen Illinois State Police Trooper Brooke Jones-Story. A memorial for Jones-Story was held yesterday at Warren High School. The 34-year-old was killed Thursday afternoon when a semi struck her and her squad car as she was inspecting another semi on U.S. 20 near Freeport. She was a 12-year veteran of the ISP.
