(Cincinnati, OH) — The Feds are announcing charges against Brian Michael Rini, the man who claimed he was missing boy Timmothy Pitzen of Illinois. Ohio U.S. Attorney Ben Glassman said Rini is being charged with lying to a federal agent. Glassman said Rini faces up to eight years in prison because the charges are related to child sex trafficking. This week Rini told Kentucky police he had just escaped from captors and was Timmothy Pitzen, who hasn’t been seen since he was six-years-old in 2011. A DNA test proved the claim was false.
