UI Linked To Black Hole Discovery
(Champaign, IL) — The University of Illinois is being linked to the first photograph of a black hole. The university was part of a recent collaboration of astronomists across the world to finally make a black hole visible. The Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration made the photo possible, and three UI graduate students were part of the group.
