Starting today and for the next two weeks, Target stores are accepting and recycling used car sets in exchange for coupons worth 20-percent off selected baby gear items. The retailer will take infant seats, convertible seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats. People who don’t live near a Target store can go online at recycleyourcarseat.org for information on how and where to recycle car seats in every state. Since Target started the popular trade-in program three years ago, more than half-a million car seats and nearly seven and-a-half million pounds of materials have been recycled.
