Man Arrested After Urbana Hit-And-Run
(Urbana, IL) — A Savoy man is facing charges after police say he hit a bicyclist while driving under the influence. Urbana officers responded to the scene of the hit-and-run in the 16-hundred-block of High Cross Road last night. Officers say a witness provided a vehicle description and a license plate. Mitchell Snodgrass was arrested later last night for driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The bicyclist was taken to the hospital in serious condition with potentially life-threatening injuries.
