United Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing At Central Illinois Airport
(Bloomington, IL) — A United Airlines flight is back to normal service after making an emergency stop in Bloomington. Flight 5228 made its emergency landing yesterday at Central Illinois Regional Airport on only one engine. Sources say the flight had 49 passengers and three crew on board. No injuries were reported. The flight originated out of Columbia, Missouri with a final destination of Chicago O’Hare.
