China is considering calling off trade talks scheduled for this week after President Trump threatened to hike tariffs on Chinese goods. The Wall Street Journal reports that Chinese Vice Premier Liu He could cancel a trip to Washington for additional trade talks with U.S. officials. Beijing is reportedly upset that President Trump tweeted that tariffs on 200-billion-dollars worth of Chinese goods will go up from ten-percent to 25 this Friday, and he plans to target additional untaxed goods soon.
