Melissa McCarthy To Claim Degree At SIU Commencement Ceremony
(Carbondale, IL) — Award-winning actress Melissa McCarthy will receive an honorary degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale at the school’s upcoming commencement ceremony. SIU’s website says McCarthy will receive an honorary doctorate of performing arts degree. The two-time Emmy-winning actress has been nominated for an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, a Screen Actor’s Guild Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Critics Choice Award.
