Illinois State Troopers To Dress As Construction Workers To Catch Speeders

(Moline, IL) — Not everyone of the guys and gals in hard hats in the next construction zone you drive through will be working on the road. The Illinois State Police yesterday announced that they will dress as construction workers and sit in work zones this month to catch speeders. Troopers say the whole idea is to keep work zones in Illinois safe. This week is Work Zone Safety Week.
