A Mattoon teen suffered serious injuries in a rollover accident Saturday afternoon. According to the Illinois State Police, the 16-year-old girl was northbound on I-57 at milepost 190 when her vehicle blew a tire. The vehicle slid off the roadway and overturned several times. A passenger, an 18-year-old male from Danville, was transported by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. Seat belts were worn by the driver and passenger. The accident remains under investigation.
