Costly Census Push Could Keep State From Losing Funds, Seats
(Springfield, IL) — A group is proposing a costly push to get the word out about next year’s U.S. Census. The Chicago Urban League says the state should spend at least 33-million to spread information about the process. The League says the effort will prevent the state from losing federal funding and congressional seats.
