Severe Weather To Hit Central U.S. This Weekend
(Undated) — Severe thunderstorms will roll across the Central Plains this weekend. The powerful storms will bring heavy rain, hail, strong winds and possible tornadoes from Texas to South Dakota starting Friday. Forecasters estimate about 44-million people live in the risk zone for severe thunderstorms this Friday through Sunday. Some residents are being warned to watch out for local flash flooding and wind gusts of up to 80 miles-per-hour. On Saturday, the severe storms will stretch eastward from Arkansas to Minnesota, and on Sunday from Louisiana to Illinois.
