Funeral Held For Teen Shooting Victim In Champaign
(Champaign, IL) — The Champaign community is mourning as a teen shooting victim was laid to rest. A funeral was held for 14-year-old Elijha Booker on Saturday. Booker was killed the day before Mother’s Day and police have issued an arrest warrant for a 15-year-old who they say may have pulled the trigger. Authorities say he may have fired the gun by accident, but that he isn’t cooperating with the investigation.
