One person was air-lifted from a crash on the Dieterich Blacktop last night. According to the Illinois State Police, 44-year-old Andres Andino, of Effingham was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed both lanes before leaving the roadway and overturning twice. A passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old Monika Montes, also of Effingham, was air-lifted to Carle Foundation Hospital. Andino was ticketed for illegal transportation of alcohol.
