Illinois lawmakers are waiting until the last minute to propose and pass a state budget. The spring legislative session ends today, and legislators hadn’t released the language of the Fiscal Year 2020 budget bill as of last night. Lawmakers say there is plenty of time to get a budget passed today before the session ends.
