Rare World War Two Plane Offers Flights, Tours In Marion
(Marion, IL) — Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois and the Experimental Aircraft Association are offering tours and flights on a World War Two airplane. The B-17 Model G bomber Aluminum Overcast has stopped in Marion on its latest tour. Seats are available for rides today at a cost of 435 dollars. Later in the afternoon, ground tours will be available for ten-dollars, with proceeds being used to keep up the plane and pay costs.
