Rockford Plans To Move Quickly After State Approval Of Casino
(Rockford, IL) — Rockford is planning to move quickly after the state approved a casino. The timeline hasn’t been set, but officials say the new casino should be operating in less than three years. The city has figured that 70-percent of the revenue will go to Rockford, while Winnebago County would get 20-percent and Machesney Park and Loves Park would get five-percent each.
