.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT… Scattered thunderstorms are possible tonight. There is a slight risk that they may be strong to severe, with strong winds the main threat. There is also the potential that locally heavy rain with the storms may cause flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY… Additional strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Wednesday and Wednesday evening. Scattered thunderstorms will remain a threat through the weekend, though severe weather chances lessen with time. Lingering flooding on the Wabash River near Palestine should subside on Friday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT… Spotter activation may be needed tonight after sunset, mainly from I-57 west.
