Zhang Estate Sues Christensen, Two UI Social Workers

(Urbana, IL) — The administrator for Yingying Zhang’s estate is sung Brendt Christensen and two UI social workers for wrongful death and negligence. The lawsuit focuses on Christensen’s mental health treatment and claims social workers’ lack of action could be to blame for Zhang’s death. The lawsuit filed yesterday comes just a day before opening statements in the criminal trial.
