DCFS Working Group Holds First Meeting

(Springfield, IL) — Meetings of the DCFS working group are getting underway. The working group that met yesterday was created this spring and has six Democrats and six Republicans from both the House and the Senate. Lawmakers say they will use the summer to meet with child welfare advocates and DCFS employees. The group is charged with coming up with solutions to problems in the agency.
