New Texting While Driving Law Takes Effect July 1st
(Champaign, IL) — A new law meant to combat texting while driving will take effect July 1st. Those caught texting and driving will face a moving violation. Three violations in a year will lead to a suspended license. Fines are also going up to 164-dollars.
