The search for the next Southern Illinois University president is set to get underway. The Board of Trustees members decided in March to slow down its search so they could clarify their goals for an eventual hire. The trustees, and chancellors from SIU-Carbondale and SIU-Edwardsville met to discuss those goals yesterday. A consulting firm will use the information to recruit a pool of candidates over the summer.
